Terms and conditions for current promotions

• The £10 Family Ticket offer is valid on Family Special screenings from 28 March to 12 April 2026, inclusive.
• A Family Ticket admits up to four people, and must include two or three children.
• Child tickets are valid for guests aged 14 years and under.
• The offer applies to selected Family Special screenings only.
• A £2 uplift per ticket applies to Recliner seating where available.
• Offer available at participating cinemas only and is subject to availability.
• A booking fee may apply to online or telephone bookings.
• Additional tickets must be purchased at standard ticket prices.
• Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion, discount, or offer.
• Tickets are non-transferable and no cash alternative is available.
• Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for credit or used against other screenings, except where required by law.
• The cinema reserves the right to amend or withdraw the offer at any time.

Eligibility & Entry

• Promotion open to UK residents aged 13+

• Entrants under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to enter

• No purchase necessary  

• Competition valid at participating The Light venues only  

• Entry period closes on 12 April 2026 (entries received after this date will not be counted)  

How to Enter 

• To enter, participants must:  

• Take a picture with the in-venue Mario display  

• Share the image on a public social media account  

• Tag the official social media account of their local The Light on Instagram or Facebook 

• Entrants must comply with the minimum age requirements of the social media platform used  

• Social media profiles must be public at the time of winner selection to allow verification  

• Multiple entries permitted; each entry must be unique  

• Incomplete, inappropriate, or non-compliant entries will be disqualified  

Content & Permissions 

• By entering, participants confirm they have permission from all individuals featured in their entry, including parental/guardian consent for anyone under 18  

• Entrants confirm that, where applicable, a parent or legal guardian has consented to:  

• Entry into the promotion  

• Creation and submission of the content  

• Use of the content for marketing and promotional purposes  

• Entrants are responsible for ensuring content does not infringe any third-party rights  

• By entering, participants grant The Light the right to use submitted content (including images and social media handles) across digital, social, and in-venue channels  

• The promoter reserves the right to request proof of age and/or parental consent at any time  

Winner Selection & Contact 

• One winner will be selected at random from all valid entries  

• The winner will be contacted via social media within 14 days of the closing date  

• If the winner does not respond within 7 days, The Light reserves the right to select an alternative winner  

• If the winner is under 18, a parent or legal guardian may be required to accept the prize on their behalf  

The Prize – Big Screen Gaming Experience 

• The prize is a Big Screen Gaming Experience at a participating The Light venue  

• The experience includes up to 2 hours of screen time, inclusive of set-up and pack-down  

• The winner must bring their own gaming console unless otherwise agreed with The Light - compatibility with all devices is not guaranteed  

• The Light accepts no responsibility for loss, damage, or technical issues relating to personal equipment  

• The winner is responsible for bringing all required equipment (including console, controllers, cables, and game media)  

• The experience is subject to availability; date, time, and screen size will be agreed at booking  

• The winner may invite guests; maximum group size will be determined by The Light based on operational considerations  

• All attendees must comply with venue rules and staff instructions  

Safeguarding & Content Use During Prize 

• Where the winner or guests are under 18:  

• A parent or legal guardian may be required to be present  

• All content played must be age-appropriate for the group  

• The Light reserves the right to refuse any game or content deemed inappropriate  

• The winner is responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to use any game/content played  

General 

• The prize must be redeemed within a timeframe specified by The Light at the time of winner confirmation  

• The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or alternatives 

• The Light reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary  

• Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable legislation, including UK GDPR, and used solely for administration of the promotion  

• This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any social media platform

• The prize will consist of a small treat or promotional item selected at the discretion of the venue (for example, confectionery or a similar item)
