The Dating Game
Directed by Emmy-winning filmmaker Violet du Feng and produced by Oscar-winning producer Joanna Natasegara, THE DATING GAME premiered to sold-out screenings at this year's Sundance Film Festival, where it was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize for World Cinema Documentary. It has since screened at over 15 international festivals, with 7 award nominations, and 2 wins.
In a country where eligible men greatly outnumber women, THE DATING GAME follows three perpetual bachelors as they join an intensive seven-day dating camp, led by one of China's most sought-after dating coaches, in what may be their last-ditch effort to find love.
Equal measures heartbreaking and hilarious, it has been reported on by Variety, Deadline, Vulture, IndieWire, the BBC, the IDA and the LA Times, and was voted #3 in the 'Best Movies of Sundance 2025' according to 176 critics.
